Yay money!
I'd hoped never to have to be this familiar with dawn ever again, but here I am, awake at 5:00 AM, preparing to go back to work at the cafeteria.

I really can't complain, since they are being kind enough to give me 35 hours of work a week, but man, not having to wake up early this last month and a half was really delightful.  Still, it's better this time around, since I only have to be awake at 5, not 4, since I go to work at 7, and not 6:30.  Also, I was able to unearth my uniform without too much trouble.  Considering the fact that I threw it into a box in a closet, that's quite a feat.

I'm just thankful I didn't throw it away.

In addition to working in the morning, 7-2, I'm on call at Lane Bryant from 4-10.  I wonder what working two jobs in one day feels like.

Oh well.  Breakfast time!

It was always kind of abstract to me when I read about people in the US having two jobs a day... until now. I dearly hope it isn't as straining as it seems to be. Good luck!

My dad once worked three jobs at the same time in order to pay his way through college. Back then, it was possible to make enough to pay for school, but now it's impossible!

Honestly, it really isn't that bad. But most students in the US are used to working and going to class at the same time, and it isn't a rare thing for a person to work two jobs, especially part time ones.

The only bad thing is that I drink much too much coffee and don't get enough sleep! But hopefully that will change at the end of the summer.

Students in Germany also often work part time, but since universities are mostly free, it's more or less to be more independent. I have part time jobs since im 16, but I can't imagine to have more than one at a time and still stay sane.
I hope you'll have more time to sleep at the end of summer, too! ^_^
